The territory where the Masseria Majella is located lends itself to multiple forms of sporting recreation, all forms that have the widest expression in nature and the enjoyment of the environment. The environment where one is projected during the holiday in Abruzzo is that typical of the Apennines, in the case of the Holiday Home, of the Majella mountain range and of the Morrone where the homonymous National Park was established years ago. The territory has natural paths to enjoy wonderful walks on foot or by mountain bike, which allow easy access to the hermitages of Santo Spirito, the Hermitage of San Bartolomeo in Legio, the Valle Giumetina with its Eco Museum and a beautiful Rocky Wall destination for many Free Climbing fans

Sport Climbing

The purpose of sport climbing is the movement for pleasure inherent in the movement itself and for fun. So the progression happens only with the use of one's body or in a free way: free climbing. Do not confuse free climbing with the absence of insurance means, as free climbing or free climbing always takes place with protection tools such as harness, rope, postponements and insurers. Climbing without protection is instead defined as free-only.
